【克里夫·梅利森】饰福尔摩斯 生于1945年9月15日。曾参与皇家莎士比亚剧团、环球剧院和Old Vic剧团的演出。他（饰歇洛克·福尔摩斯）和已故的迈克尔·威廉姆斯（饰华生医生）是唯一完整演播了所有柯南·道尔的福尔摩斯原著的演员。 其他知名作品：《历史男孩》（2006，饰演校长）；《英国病人》（1996，饰演Fenelon-Barnes）
【迈克尔·威廉姆斯】饰华生 1935年7月9日生于英国利物浦，2001年1月11日因肺癌逝于伦敦韩姆斯德区（就是米尔沃顿家在的那一区）。1971年2月5日与后来的女爵士朱迪·丹奇结婚，俩人育有一女。就读于利物浦圣·爱德华·克里斯蒂安兄弟学校。任职于Catholic Stage Guild（字面意思是天主教舞台协会，我没查到其通用的中文译名）数年。2000年11月他被授予教皇爵士爵位，并在逝世前几天颁发给他，这是天主教会所授予的最高荣誉之一。 在开始他的剧院生涯之前，他在保险行业供职，并和另一位未来的明星莱昂纳多·罗西特共用商业联盟的一间办公室。2000年，因为在皇家国家剧院舞台剧《森林》中的表演，而获得劳伦斯·奥利弗奖1999年度最佳男配角奖提名。在由伯特·考尔斯编剧的BBC福尔摩斯探案全集广播剧中饰华生医生。该剧自1989年11月到1995年3月在英国BBC电台播出，克里夫·梅利森饰伟大的侦探。 其他知名作品：《亨利第五》（1989，饰威廉姆斯） [/fold]
